Makes 4 to 6 servings

1 lb. ground beef

1 onion, chopped

10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup

1 c. sour cream

1 c. beef broth

1/2 c. water

3 c. wide egg noodles, uncooked

Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat; drain. Gradually blend in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, or until noodles are tender.

To thicken gravy, add a few instant potato flakes. It will be hearty and extra yummy.

Tex-Mex Chili

Makes 4 servings

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained

15-oz. can hot chili beans

15-1/2 oz. can kidney beans

12-oz. jar salsa

1-1/4 oz. pkg. chili seasoning mix

1/2 to 1 c. water

Combine all ingredients in a large stockpot. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
